The Dance Shack/Courses/Beginner Bachata

Learn to express your inner sensuality with the Bachata! This dance has gained a lot of popularity over the last couple of years both in Jacksonville, and nationally. You'll have lots of opportunities to use this dance; any Latin night that has Salsa will also have Bachata. It goes to slow music, and is easy to learn!
The Steps

Basic – With this single move, you'll be able to enjoy the fun that Bachata has to offer! Once you add style to it, this basic is a lot of fun to dance, all by itself!

Underarm Turns – Show off to your partner with the Underarm turns. A fundamental move that introduces you these commonly used turns.

Forward and Back Basic – Get used to moving in all directions with your basic. It's trickier than it looks!

Separation – It really does make the heart grow fonder! A great flirt move.

Boxes – Further improve your footwork with these boxes. Two different kinds, each help you to get used to Bachata's footwork and body positioning.
