The Dance Shack/Classes/Newbie Class
The Free Newbie Class here at The Dance Shack lets you try us out and see if you like the way we teach!
It's a completely free class with no commitment whatsoever! You don't need an appointment to come to these classes, and you may attend them as often as you like!
Salsa and Bachata
This Newbie Class takes place on Sundays at 2pm and Thursdays at 6pm. We'll be going over the basic steps in the Salsa, a popular fast Latin dance, and the Bachata, a slow, romantic dance that has also gained a lot of popularity.
East Coast Swing and Hustle
This Newbie Class takes place on Wednesdays at 6pm. The East Coast Swing is danced to fast Rock 'n' Roll based music, Pop music, Country-Western music, as well as Golden Oldies, and a lot of big band music.
The Hustle goes to anything with a strong, driving beat like top 40 club mixes. A LOT of pop music goes with the Hustle.
